On the morning of Sunday 9-20, the television was monopolized by President Obama's address to the country on healthcare reform. The fact that this occurred shows how anxious the administration is to slide this plan through. Nonverbally, the mass broadcast was a display of sorts, a defensive posture to the negative response after Obama's address to the House of Reps.
